Welcome to HERD, a group travel planning and coordination application. These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of the HERD mobile application, website, and related services (“Service”).

By downloading, accessing, or using HERD, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

To use HERD, you must:

3. HERD’s Role

5. Group Features & Payments

HERD allows users to:

  • Collect contributions

  • Communicate via group chat

Payments processed via HERD may be handled by third-party payment providers (e.g., Stripe).

HERD is not responsible for disputes between group members regarding contributions or cancellations.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to:

  • Use HERD unlawfully

  • Upload false or misleading information

  • Harass, abuse, or impersonate others

  • Share sensitive data without consent

  • Attempt to hack or disrupt the Service

7. Passport & Sensitive Trip Data

HERD may allow storage of passport or ID information for trip convenience.

You are responsible for ensuring:

  • You have consent before uploading another person’s data

  • The information is accurate and lawful

8. Third-Party Services

HERD may integrate with third-party suppliers (e.g., booking platforms, payment processors).

We are not liable for:

  • Supplier service failures

  • External booking disputes

  • Third-party terms or policies

Use of the app is at your own risk.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HERD is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential losses

  • Loss of travel bookings or funds

  • Group disputes

  • Data loss outside our control
